1st W.A.V.E. Walk

I started this walk with just me as a participant. I believe that anything that is created begins with a single step forward. I made a conscious decision to begin this 5K walk alone to set the foundation for what was to become. Now, we are growing to be one of the most important charitable walk in the community.
2nd Annual W.A.V.E. Walk October 12, 2013
The second annual W.A.V.E 5K Walk was a success. With over 40 walkers in attendance, we were able to begin to forge a strong following from the previouse year. We also were able to shine attention on this serious matter.
3rd Annual W.A.V.E. Walk October 11, 2014
This year's walk was also a success! With over 60 walkers in attendance along with college student volunteers, the message that Domestice Violence is wrong resonated within the community.
4th Annual W.A.V.E. Walk October 10, 2015
The fourth annual walk was a memorable one as survivor's of domestic violence were speakers at the event. Some of the survivors were able to express their experiences through poems as others were able to tell their story.

This year's W.A.V.E. Walk prepares to be exciting as we have partnered up with the Family Services of Beaumont and the Beaumont police Department who will be in attendance to give informational talks and info at the event.You don't want to miss it!
